The realme Buds Q2: Sleek and stylish TWS earbuds at a very affordable price

The successor of realme’s Buds Q earphones has just been launched — the realme Buds Q2. The realme Buds Q2 takes True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds to another level and offers a better listening experience with stylish design, quality audio, and other features.

The new realme Buds Q2 sports a really cool, modern aesthetically pleasing design — it incorporates the cut-shape design of the kaleidoscope into its cobble-shaped earbuds. The Buds Q2 also comes in two color options: black and pastel blue. They are lightweight too; each bud weighs only 4.1 grams.

Here are some of the outstanding features of the realme Buds Q2.

Better listening experience – The buds come with a 10mm Dynamic Bass Boost Driver that produces mid- to high-frequency sound. Its updated Bass Boost+ solution brings out the bass for that immersive, heart-thumping, deep bass music.

Great gaming and video experiences due to very low latency – It only takes 88ms latency for sound from your phone to transfer to the realme Buds Q2. That perfect sync between action and sound gives gaming enthusiasts the immersive feel of being “in-the-game”. Watching your favorite Netflix movie is also that much better when there is no lag between mouth movements and actions with the sound.

Active noise cancellation – The Buds Q2 come with a powerful noise reduction system supported by its ENC (environmental noise cancellation). This drastically reduces ambient noise, a feature that comes in handy when you are out in a mall where noise levels can interfere with your listening experience. It also cancels out noise around you when taking calls or in a Zoom meeting.

Long battery life – You get up to 20 hours of battery life with a built-in 40mAh battery in the earbuds and 400mAh battery in its charging case. This translates to about 3 hours of single continuous calling time and 5 hours of single continuous listening time. Watch up to 8 movies straight or listen to as many as 400 songs on a single charge. Even a 10-minute charge can already give you 2 hours of use. Note that since these buds remain in the budget category, the charging case uses the old microUSB port instead of USB-C ports found in other TWS headphones.

Bluetooth 5.0 – Because it operates on Bluetooth technology, you can listen to music even as far from your device as 10 meters.

Intelligent touch feature – Just tap on the Buds to activate its control panel feature. You can play, pause or move to the next song. Even more, you can get into game mode without touching the phone. Just activate gaming mode by long tapping both earbuds.

Water resistant – With its IPX4 water resistance rating, the realme Buds Q2 can be worn even in light rain or while doing activities that make you sweat.

The realme Buds Q2 will be available in selected realme concept stores, kiosks, and partner dealers nationwide starting May 22, at the suggested retail price of PhP 1,290. The warranty period for the realme Buds Q2 is 1 year, applicable from the device’s activation date. During the warranty period, if any functional failure occurs, realme will provide maintenance services free of charge through 16 authorized service centers nationwide.
