Microsoft partnerships enable businesses to thrive in co-working spaces

Microsoft continues to surprise me with its innovative moves. It has moved Office to the cloud with Office 365, added advanced features as enterprise solutions for its Office 365 E5, and now they entered into partnerships that enable small businesses like startups to thrive in co-working spaces.

Microsoft’s dream is to be inclusive — meaning, its products can be used by a wider range of people and businesses, no matter how large or small.

One of the latest trends in terms of community, collaboration, openness, and sustainability is the shared working environment or co-working space. An environment where the coffee shop meets the office cubicle is ideal for many smaller businesses like startups that do not want the fixed overhead of exclusive real estate while still having the environment for their businesses to flourish.

Cloud Solutions for Businesses on the Go

Office 365’s cloud technology, files, documents, and data can be created, edited and shared with all devices in real-time — PCs, Macs, and devices running iOS, Android or Windows. Businesses can readily connect with their customers from anywhere and space is not a problem when Office 365 gives 1TB per user for lots and lots of file space. Being housed in the cloud, files are easily shared with people both inside and outside the company at any time.

There are many co-working spaces around Makati but Penbrothers’ differentiation from the rest is that it provides a whole suite of human resources services and strong legal assistance as well that helps companies in their day-to-day business.

The partnership of Microsoft with Penbrothers aims to enable employees with the right technology, support, and work environment to make them more productive and efficient at work.

Another partnership Microsoft has is with Dell. Its Microsoft applications are showcased in Dell laptops and devices and with Penbrothers in the picture, renters get a better office technology experience.

Windows 10 Pro for Business

Microsoft is offering Penbrothers residents the use of Windows Pro for Business, an upgrade from the Windows 10 Home. Windows Pro for Business is safer and more secure for businesses because of its enhanced encryption that protects from security threats. There are also cost-effective features that help companies better manage and protect their systems and data.

With Dell’s newest line of gadgets, businesses at Penbrothers gain access to new features of Microsoft’s cloud, productivity, and collaboration.

This is just the start for Microsoft as they look forward to more partnerships with co-working spaces.
