Lifestyle-inspired audio with Nyne bluetooth speakers

It was a blistering hot summer afternoon when we gathered at the clubhouse garden of one of the villages but I did not mind the heat that much since waiters were going around bringing us glasses of iced water. I was more interested in checking out the line of Nyne speakers which were creatively showcased the way users with different lifestyles would use them.

“Lifestyle-inspired audio” is not an exaggerated description when I saw the Nyne speakers. Forget boxy-looking speakers. These ones are eye-candy and fashionable looking! Each one was made with a specific lifestyle in mind and infused with the sound quality and durability that an audiophile with an active lifestyle would look for.

My favorite – the Aqua!

Let’s start with the one that really caught my eye because it stood out as truly different from the rest. I saw the Aqua speaker floating in a kiddie pool.

Waterproof, floats, and looks like a flotation device. Did I say it plays music even when wet?

It was dunked under water, floated to the top, and still worked!

Sayang. I stopped recording too soon because right after I stopped it, the music was interrupted by a phone call picked up by the bluetooth speaker to show that you can answer your phone calls while in the water. Cool!

This is a rugged and portable speaker that comes with adjustable handlebar mounting clips. A carry case with spring-loaded hook lets you easily attach it to a backpack. Safety was in the mind of Nyne when it designed the Cruiser with 10 watts so you can say goodbye to earphones (which are unsafe for biking because it blocks ambient sounds that you need to hear when on the road) and still play your favorite music. It’s also great when strolling in the park or to put some spiff into a gym workout because it is handy.
