Dell introduces its entry level 3000 and 5000 series Inspiron laptops
Dell just introduced today its latest entry level Inspiron 14 3000 Series and Inspiron 14 and 15 5000 Series laptops that are meant for families and students.
The Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Series feature a variety of hardware configurations. It’s got built-in DVD drives, up to 1TB storage, optional touch panels and a 4-cell 40 WHr battery. It sports a black plastic housing.
Prices start from PhP 18,590.

The Dell Inspiron 14 5000 Series and Inspiron 15 5000 Series both come with a backlit keyboard. They are housed in a brushed aluminum lid (much like the Macbooks) and are powered by 4th generation Intel Core i processors up to 8 hours, 9 minutes for the Inspiron 14 5000 and up to 7 hours, 33 minutes for the Inspiron 15 5000. The 15-inch laptop also comes with its very own built-in numeric keypad – great for those like me who can add up numbers by touch-typing (I have to thank my Accountancy education for that, haha!). And…unlike the 3000 series, the 5000 series are much thinner and so DVD drives are not found on these.

The Inspiron 14 5000 series laptops start from PhP 38,990 and the Inspiron 15 5000 series laptops start from PhP 40,990.
Dell Pro Support
Some of the higher end models have a new support feature called Dell Pro Support. Beyond troubleshooting via phone (tel. 633-2000), you get an onsite visit from a technical person 24/7, 365 days a year.
For pre-installed software, the Dell engineer collaborate with Microsoft & McAfee. Assistance is not available for additional software that are user-installed.
