Check out the Sony Fair at Bonifacio High Street (December 9-18, 2016)

Head on over to Bonifacio High Street (BHS) between December 9 and 18, 2016 to enjoy the Sony Fair on the BHS grounds featuring interactive displays, community activities and workshops that will let visitors experience the Sony devices that can fuel their lifestyle.

The 10-day event brings together some of Sony’s flagship products in mobile, digital imaging, home entertainment, personal audio, and gaming.

The interactive displays are scattered throughout the BHS grounds, making it a fun walking experience as well.

At the entrance to the fair is Bravia’s showcase featuring the latest X93000D 4K HDR TV with a screen that shows colors and detail as vividly as never before. In the same area, we also saw the Z9D, a 4K HDR tv. Partnered with the HT-ST9 Soundbar with Bluetooth, audio and entertainment is brought to a whole new level for perfect entertaining.

Walk behind the Bravia booth and you will find the Sony PlayStation booth. I paid more attention to this booth because I know my kids are saving up for a PS4. On display was the PlayStation VR Headset that gamers will love as they experience virtual reality.

Visitors will also see some of the year’s most popular games including Final Fantasy XV, Just Dance, and NBA2K117.

In another group of booths were Sony’s audio products. On exhibitI got to try their noise-canceling headphones…the Sony MDR-1000X. While wearing the headphones, all I could hear was the music playing. Very clear, rich vibrant sound! The headphones totally shut out ambient sounds but when you want to listen to someone talking or bring ambient sound in, just cup one headphone with your hand and you can hear sounds around you as well!

Portable wireless speakers are your thing? The only wireless speakers I have are those tiny ones which are great for amplified listening pleasure when I am mobile but apparently Sony had a LARGER view of portable and wireless. Their GTK-XB7 Wireless Speakers were huge bass boom boxes! These are probably great for outdoor parties, karaoke sessions, and large group gatherings.

Of course, the audio products for audiophiles cannot be ignored. They have the portable wireless speakers (SRS-XB3) and the multicolored Extra Bass In-Ear Headphones for the mobile generation.

Audio products for the car are being showcased as well. Noemi and I sat inside a Ford Everest SUV to hear how it sounded. Really impressive!

The Xperia booth features a comprehensive display of Sony’s hottest mobile phones, including the Xperia XZ flagship mobile phone.

Demos showed us the features of the different phones including its image stabilization, focus, and picture perfect features.

Last but not the least, you can check out Sony’s flagship Alpha and Cyber-Shot cameras. I was amazed with one of the features – the fast tracking one. There was a barista juggling drinks tumblers and the Sony camera was able to perfectly catch his moves. No blurry images at all! Watch this short demo.
